Ascension Day Services - May 26
Ascension Day is the day celebrating the bodily ascension of Jesus Christ to heaven 40 days after His resurrection from the dead on Easter Sunday according to Mark 16:19, Luke 24:51, and Acts 1:9.

Bike Ministry for Afghan Refugees
On May 9, the ministry will be partnering with For The Nations, Christ Church Vienna, Shepherd’s Heart Anglican Church, and Church of the Apostles for a mobile bike clinic repairing adult bikes for Afghan Refugees to have transportation for work.

In Holy Week, we encounter Jesus’ suffering and death, and we experience anew his great love. We do not go through Holy Week because we are unsure of Jesus’ forgiveness, but because we must never take it for granted. We must never skip glibly from the “Hosannas” of Palm Sunday to Easter’s “Christ is risen.” We must walk the Way of the Cross.
