Christ Church at Derby Days

On April 30, Christ Church participated in the South Riding Expo/Derby Days. Loudoun Awakening shared their booth with us, featuring a beehive. The bees demonstrate many of the wonders of God’s creation. Visitors learned about the mysteries of bees and sampled their honey. The taste test revealed the homemade honey was far better than store bought. Children in particular enjoyed tasting the honey and even trying on a beekeeper’s jacket (see photo below).
