Bishop Chris braved frigid temperatures to continue a beloved Incarnation tradition: our annual visit from Saint Nicholas!

This Friendsgiving provided a gathering for the church family, local college students, and neighbors who might otherwise spend the holidays alone.

The Lamb Center: At Bible Study for the Homeless, a Search for Meaning

The Christ the Redeemer annual fall festival, they offered hayrides, food, face painting, and fellowship. We also had the chance to meet many Messiah University students at an open house event for area churches. 

Families from the community came to enjoy all the Fall Festivities and several asked about our church.

This summer Christ the Redeemer in Dillsburg, PA (CTR) was privileged to be at local events to give away Bibles and Bible sticker/coloring books. After receiving free face painting, a young girl in the sixth grade came to the table and spotted a Bible.

In an effort to connect our own church family, and reach out to the community, Church of the Apostles (Fairfax, VA) hosted Brick Building Nights for four consecutive Wednesdays in July.

Parishioners at Church of the Redeemer in Camden, NC had a great time at their June community movie night.

DC (STEP DC) Conference Brings Churches, Faith-Based Ministries, and Community Leaders Together to Elevate Neighborhoods in Deanwood, Ward 7, Washington, DC

One of the unique aspects of going to church in the DC area, is that the Christian world here is a small one. Contrary to what one might think about the area, it’s not unusual to find oneself worshiping next to someone from across the aisle politically.

Months of planning and organizing go into this ministry, and we are the ones who always come out so blessed.

Christ the Redeemer’s recent invite and connect event included a rock, paper, scissors battle and ugly sweater contest.

This year, All Saints' Church had its fourth annual Living Nativity and community food drive.

In December, Christ Church Vienna in Vienna, VA, offered Christmas services in Spanish. The response has been heartening, with new families attending after learning about the services through outreach to local elementary schools' social workers.

Throughout Advent, Truro Anglican Church in Fairfax, VA collected several truckloads of food and personal care items to deliver to local charities.
