Christ the Redeemer Fall Fest & College Outreach
September at Christ the Redeemer (Dillsburg, PA) was a celebration of God's goodness and of meeting many people. At our annual fall festival, we had almost 50 people in attendance with many visitors. We had food, hayrides, face painting, and wonderful fellowship. We also had the chance to meet many Messiah University students at an open house event for area churches. Students stopped by our table. They got free Bibles and CTR "stuff,” and had a chance to hear about our community. We continue to reach out to our neighbors with the love of Jesus. One visitor to our Discovery Bible Study heard the word of God afresh and walked away with book written by Nicky Gumble: Why Jesus.
Fr. Mike was stopped at a lemonade stand and asked "Are you the new Anglican Church in town?"
Praise God, our church is being talked about! Another amazing blessing is seeing our young people grow in love, grace, and their gifts for the church. One young man created four pectoral crosses for our Midweek Eucharist Service. What an amazing God we serve!
