Truro Serves in Black Mountain, NC
From March 8-15, a team from Truro Anglican Church traveled to the YMCA Blue Ridge Assembly in Black Mountain, NC, for a service trip organized by the Anglican Relief & Development Fund (ARDF) in partnership with Adventures in Mission. Led in part by Tony Niles, the DOMA Lead for Disaster Response, the group—comprising volunteers of all ages—worked tirelessly to help families return to their homes following the devastation of Hurricane Helene in 2024. Their efforts brought not only much-needed repairs but also hope and encouragement to those still recovering from the storm. Enjoy photos below.
