Our Church Speaks: A New Podcast

Revs. Ben Lansing and Dan Marotta (Redeemer Anglican Church, Richmond, VA) have launched a new podcast titled Our Church Speaks, designed to explore how the lives of great men and women throughout church history can offer guidance and wisdom for navigating the complexities of our modern world by the power of strength and wisdom offered by our Lord Jesus Christ.

In the debut episode, Ben and Dan discuss the contrast between saints and celebrities, exploring the enduring relevance of the historic church in our contemporary context. At a time when our social media feeds are flooded with "influencers" and our airwaves are dominated by political rhetoric, it is more important than ever to draw inspiration from the lives of faithful believers, such as Polycarp in the first century to the martyrs of Sudan in the twenty-first century. These individuals faced challenges and hardships that many of us can scarcely imagine, yet their steadfast faith continues to resonate today.

By sharing these powerful stories, Our Church Speaks seeks to remind us that the timeless and unchanging love of Christ remains a source of strength and encouragement, no matter the era in which we live.

The first episode was released on August 19 and is available here.
