Students Attend Jubilee

Students Attend Jubilee

by Tee Feyrer

This past weekend (Feb. 21-23) we brought 19 students to Coalition for Christian Outreach’s (CCO) Jubilee! It was a great opportunity to bond as a community and learn more about how faith in Jesus changes every aspect of our lives. The Annual Jubilee Conference is for college students who want their lives to mean more. This year it took place in Pittsburgh, PA. Our own Rev. Dan Marotta (Rector at Redeemer Anglican Church) led two sessions at this year’s jubilee on habits and on grief & loss.

Here are a few brief snippets from Jubilee to mention:

  • Ian, a non-christian, felt comfortable enough to come and learn more about what it might mean for him to eventually be a Christian.

  • Zachiah, a zealous freshman, found a space to ask a flurry of questions to grow in her faith.

  • Caleb, a pre-med student, gained more insight and confidence in his pursuit of Christ through the sciences.

  • Katie, a quiet sophomore, had enough faith to jump into an uncomfortable environment and embrace it.

These are just a few ways God worked in these students’ lives.
