Immanuel Advent Traditions
On a recent Sunday this Advent, Immanuel Anglican Church in Manassas, VA enjoyed a beautiful tradition: Blessing of the Creches. Members of the congregation brought in their family nativities for a moment of prayer and reflection on the true meaning of Christmas — the birth of our Savior. Immanuel also hosted their annual Advent Wreath Celebration for the community. Together they created Advent wreaths and prepared their hearts for the coming of Christ.
