A Message of Hope: Christ the Savior's Dinner Outreach

by Becki Neumann

On the evening of Saturday, Dec. 9, Christ the Savior Anglican, Glen Burnie, MD, extended the spirit of Christmas to the recovery community in the Arbutus, MD area through a heartwarming Christmas Dinner Outreach. The event offered a traditional Christmas dinner along with door prizes, joyous festivities, and genuine fellowship for all attendees. Reverend Tim Welden added a special touch by reading excerpts from "An Angel’s Story" by Max Lucado and shared the gospel message that while all fall short, God still welcomes all to come to him through Jesus.

People left the event filled with hot food, warm feelings, and a heart inclined toward the good news of God in Christ. Many asked: “Is this the first ANNUAL Christmas dinner?” That question was greeted with a resounding yes!
