Introducing Christ the Redeemer

Church of the Ascension, Kearneysville, WV, is happily partnering with the Rev. Mike and Angie Koppola in planting Christ the Redeemer in Dillsburg, PA. Mike and Angie have a rich testimony filled with God's faithfulness and power. They have served in various pastoral, evangelistic, and intercessory roles across various Christian traditions. It's exciting to see them laying the foundation for a new parish. They are the first, Lord willing, of the church planters from Ascension. As our Lord has commanded us to make disciples of all nations, we pray for their wild and crazy Gospel success. Thank you for praying and supporting them, too. ~Darryl

Christ the Redeemer church plant seeks to help people love God with their whole lives and express Christ’s light to their community. The core values of loving God, yielding our lives to Him, and sharing his light guide us in our discipleship and mission. We experience these values by being anchored in scripture, praying together, experiencing channels of grace, living out historic practices and serving people. 

Our planting team is led by Mike and Angie Koppola. Pastor Mike Koppola is an ordained Deacon, and will be ordained a Priest later this year, in the Diocese of the Mid-Atlantic. He is an Asbury Theological Seminary graduate with a passion to help people love God and experience his grace. They have served in various pastoral capacities over their years together, taught in Christian schools, led evangelistic and mission teams, developed small group ministries, discipled believers into stronger faith and understanding. They also own and operate Koppola Cleaning, which they founded in 2014 ~Mike
