A Wonderful Pro-Life Lesson for Elementary Sunday School Classes

by Jeanne Lee

The Falls Church Anglican presented a wonderful pro-life lesson to elementary Sunday School classes on January 30, in partnership with TFCA’s Anglicans for Life chapter.  Over 100 children learned about life in the womb and how we are each “fearfully and wonderfully made”.  The lesson was a mixture of Bible and science.  The children heard their own heartbeats and also a fetal heartbeat, and watched a short video of babies in the womb.  They made a bracelet that tells the story of the baby’s heart starting to beat at 3 weeks, so they can share this amazing news with others.

To reinforce the lesson, a pro-life Family Resource Box is available at church on Sundays with age-appropriate books that parents can borrow.  It includes the “I’m Just Like You” flashcards that National Anglicans for Life recently produced!

If you would like to see the complete elementary lesson plan, please feel free to contact Jeanne Lee at tfcafl@gmail.com.
