A Concert for Advent

Church of the Holy Spirit and Winchester Anglican offered the gift of a live-stream concert for their church family to enjoy together and at home.

Patrick Ware shares the Winchester Anglican experience:

Winchester Anglican purchased enough virtual tickets for families to stream the concert at home and to share access with family members who joined with them to watch the live stream from all over the country.

The Rev. Patrick Ware is the Rector at Winchester Anglican, Winchester, VA.

Robbie Pruitt explains the experience at Church of the Holy Spirit:

On Sunday, December 6, Church of the Holy Spirit hosted the Andrew Peterson Behold The Lamb of God Concert, live-streamed from the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville Tennessee. The evening was a huge success, complete with personalized greeting from Andrew Peterson himself. While the concert was three hours long, complete with a mission presentation for IJM, it did not seem to be that long. It was an intimate evening of listening to music with our friends. Under thirty people attended the concert, and everyone who did was delighted that they had done so, and they cannot wait until next year to do it again. We can tell this is a new CHS Christmas tradition for years to come and we highly recommend this event for other churches who are considering doing this concert livestream.

The Rev. Robbie Pruitt is the Assistant Rector at Church of the Holy Spirit in Leesburg, VA.
