The Power of One

Activating The Congregation To Live Out Jesus’ Mission

You are invited to the
2024 Synod Seminar
Friday, Nov. 15
2-5 p.m.

We’re all in on living out the mission of showing Jesus to those near and far. But, when we take a step back and really look at how we’re doing in this area as a church, it’s easy to see how the daily grind of ministry and life can nudge aside our best intentions to reach out to friends, neighbors, colleagues, and family members who aren’t in relationship with Jesus. Mission can quickly turn into something we just talk about rather than something we’re actively doing.

Please come Friday, November 15 from 2-5 p.m., as Daryl Cripe helps us explore practical ways each of us can activate mission in our own lives and help move our congregations in faithful engagement with the communities they're in.

Meet our speaker: Daryl Cripe

Daryl grew up on a dairy farm in small-town Indiana, but his spiritual journey truly began in his 20s while working for Universal Studios and Universal Music Group. After being invited to a church by a stranger, his faith deepened, eventually leading him to leave the entertainment industry and enter full-time ministry. Over 10 years, Daryl served in leadership roles at several large churches in the Indianapolis area, overseeing teams in Creative Arts, Worship, Production, and Communications. His passion grew beyond individual churches to a broader mission of strengthening "the" church.

For the past 13 years, Daryl has partnered with churches across the US and internationally, helping leadership teams pursue evangelism, discipleship, and community impact. He serves on the lead team at Amplio.Group, where he advises on ministry strategies including worship service approaches, leadership structures, and guest experiences. Daryl also hosts pastoral retreats at Cultivate, a retreat center in Michigan. He and his wife Danna have been married for 32 years and have two children, Makayla and Rylan. They live in suburban Indianapolis, where Daryl enjoys the creative arts, dark chocolate, and great coffee.
