We thank God for the ordination of Timothy Jonathan Kelvin Ono, Addie Mitchell Perry Anderson, Catherine DeVane Warner, James William Brockway Jr., Vivian Maeomia Brewington Hayes, and Allen Hunt Roberts II to the Sacred Order of Deacons tonight during the Eucharist service for Synod 2024.

Clergy Day
On September 17, Church of the Epiphany hosted the Diocese's annual Clergy Day.
On September 17, Church of the Epiphany (Fairfax, VA) hosted the Diocese's annual Clergy Day. After morning prayer and reflections by Bishop Chris, Mike Kunzinger (Rector, Church of the Good Shepherd, Lynchburg, VA) shared insights on becoming a Trauma-Informed Church. Bishop Chris also gave updates from around the Diocese.

Retired Clergy Lunch
On March 23, Bishop Chris invited the retired clergy (and spouses) to a special luncheon with words of encouragement and Holy Eucharist. Bishop John Guernsey has been appointed as chaplain for this particular group of Diocese clergy.
Vocational Deacons Day
On Sat., March 2, at All Saints’ Church in Woodbridge, VA, Bishop Christopher Warner (Bishop Chris) hosted his first Vocational Deacon’s Day with the Vocational Deacon’s of the Diocese.
