Trinity Burke: Public Worship Starting Soon

Praise God for a wonderful first Sunday morning at the Woods Community Center!!

Sunday, September 17, was the first full Sunday morning worship service together as Trinity Burke in Burke, VA. It was the first of four “soft launch” services as they iron out logistics and set up and get their bearings.

The Rev. Mike Seawright has been sharing behind the scene views, praise reports, and prayer needs of this new church plant in the church newsletter and on his personal blog. In the most recent parish newsletter, Mike shared God’s provision through the generosity of others:

The Lord has provided:

  1. A large SUV that can tow a church trailer (donated!).

  2. A trailer (also donated!).

  3. A worship leader

  4. A space to work

If you have been following the journey of Trinity Burke (or any of the other DOMA church plants), you may know that it takes the support of the saints to plant a church: time, finances, prayer, and partnership. This Diocese has an incredible amount of supporters in every possible way. Thank you for your faithfulness.

The first public worship service for Trinity is planned for October 15. Please continue to pray!
