The Booyah Brrr!

If you have any questions about the Camp Booyah ministry, youth from Church of the Holy Spirit (Leesburg, VA) and All Saints’ Church (Woodbridge, VA) attended last summer. You can contact either Jedd Trenum or Robbie Pruitt with questions. Read more about their summer adventure here.

Dear Friends,

Anglican Youth Ministry is holding it’s first-ever winter retreat, The Booyah Brrrr! That’s right! On January 14 2022, we will be heading to Watermarks Camp in Scottsville, Va for an amazing weekend getaway with other Anglican youth groups from around the country. Read below to find out more!

So what will The Booyah Brrrr! be like?

Fun! Watermarks Camp has over 50 activities that we will be able to enjoy! Rope courses, zip lines, archery, shooting range, field games, and bonfires just to name a few!

Friends! Now, more than ever, we all need community! As we have seen during this time, youth are desperately in need of space to connect and relax with friends. One of our goals for this weekend is to provide them the space to do that.

Faith! Middle and high school students also need time to decompress and draw near to the Lord, without the distraction of complicated learning environments and social media. Every day, we will be taught from the Word and have time to process it alone and with others.

So how do we sign up?

Head over to the website for more information and to register with your $69 deposit. The total cost for The Booyah Brrrr! is $199. It will include all meals, 3 nights of lodging, and 4 days of activities.

Here is an example of potential payment breakdown:

$69 - Deposit at registration in Sept

$65 - Oct.

$65 - before Dec. 1

Before you register, please check with your youth leader to make sure your church is planning to attend this year. We are so excited to have this time to be together and we cannot wait to see what the Lord has in store for us at The Booyah Brrrr!

[Seeing as we are still in the throes of dealing with the ongoing pandemic, we are going to be implementing safety requirements that go along with our local and state mandates.]
