The Matthew 25 Initiative has released a powerful, six-week, small group experience that is intended to shape hearts and minds for what mercy and justice can look like in action at a local parish context. This new Anglican justice and mercy curriculum can be used for leadership teams, small groups, outreach task forces, and clergy members.
The course includes a six session study on justice and mercy literacy:
Biblical Theology
Terms and definitions to build a common language
Themes that thread through all work among vulnerable populations
Engagement with poverty issues in your own city or town
Reflection and prayer exercises
Discernment tools that can applied to parishes, groups, and individuals
