Josiah Project

Josiah Project is a two-summer intensive program that equips college students to impact the world for the Kingdom of God. The essence of Josiah Project lies in community with one’s team, hands-on experience in youth ministry, urban outreach, and cross-cultural missions. The most amazing and unique aspect of this program isn’t up to us: it’s up to God and you. Or maybe you and a couple of your friends who'd like to do this with you!

“Josiah Project taught me to risk for the advancement of the Kingdom of God. I’ve been radically and relentlessly pursuing Jesus since then. I’m deeply grateful to God that I was afforded the opportunity to participate in JP.” -- Betsy Wilgus Holloway, JP 1998-99

“JP came at a formative time in my life and faith. The environment of lived faith and daily practice that the Josiah Project provided has continued to spur me on in my further life, ministry, teaching, and vocation.” – Jacob Sherman, PhD.  JP 1995-96

“Before I did Josiah Project I viewed programs and ministries as features of the landscape like mountains or oceans. But now I see that even forests can be planted.” -The Rev. Anna Purdum, C4SO Church Planter

“Being mentored through my strong personality as a woman at that key time in my life is probably the main reason why I was able to survive seminary and continue working in the church.” – Sarah Taylor Lesniewski JP 1997-98

“Through the urban ministry component of Josiah Project God showed me how much this was the kind of thing I wanted to do with my life. This led me to church planting in the inner city of Manchester, UK.” – Stephen Dimmock, JP 2015-16
