Frederick Anglican Fellowship May Update

Frederick Anglican Fellowship (FAF) in Frederick, MD is looking forward with joy to having the Rev. Seth Zimmerman begin as priest for the Frederick church plant in July. He and his family have found a home and will move to the Frederick, Maryland area in early June. This is a wonderful answer to prayer.

Thanks to our diocese, several members of the Frederick lay team were able to join Seth last week for a four-day church planting training intensive in Greensboro, North Carolina. The training was taught by Canons Dan Alger and Molly Ruch of ACNA’s Always Forward Institute for church planting. The event was an opportunity both to dive deeply into church planting best practices, and also get better acquainted.

This June, FAF will have a service of Holy Eucharist led by the Rev. Charles Glantzberg. He was the first visiting priest to lead us in Holy Eucharist—on Palm Sunday in 2023. It is fitting that he will lead our final service before Seth takes up his role as our priest.

We are so thankful for Father Glantzberg and all those who have encouraged and led services for us at FAF. And also, for all who have been praying with us. Please continue as we look forward to what lies ahead in Frederick.

Seth Zimmerman, David Breisch, Sally Breisch, Dan Alger, Molly Ruch, Karen Strong, Greg Strong
