Bishop Chris Makes First Church Visit
From Feb. 25-26, Fr. Morgan Reed, Fr. Ryan Bettwy, and everyone involved at Corpus Christi Anglican Church in Springfield, VA welcomed +Chris for his first church visit as Bishop of the Diocese. On Saturday, Bishop Chris enjoyed breakfast and morning prayer with the church and he and Catherine had the opportunity to share their stories of faith and ministry. During the Sunday worship service, Bishop Chris preached, celebrated, and performed confirmations. This was CCAC's second confirmation service in its history and there were two important "firsts": 1) Some adults were confirmed who had been baptized within the last year, and 2) CCAC had their first student confirmand.
