The Truro Logo

Truro seeks to be Jesus-centered, evangelistic in bringing others to Christ, graciously engaging others in love and truth, and centered on being a hospitable community where the love of God is evident to all."
-Truro Parish Profile

The shield represents the "shield of faith," part of the armor of God.

The lower case "t" is meant to be informal and represent our approachability to those who may know nothing of "church." (Hospitable)

The "t" also includes the element of the cross, representing Jesus' sacrifice for our sins. (Jesus-centered)

The lower part of the "t" represents a hook, as God calls us to be "fishers of men." (Evangelistic)
