A Logo Story: Church of the Redeemer (Camden, NC)

Many of the churches in the Diocese have very intentional logos used as a part of their church’s story and mission. Christ the Redeemer, Camden, NC shares their logo and its inspiration. Check out their newly updated website, as well!

This mission of Church of the Redeemer is to know God and make Him known. Our vision is to be a spiritual harbor of hospitality where new and abundant life overflows in and around us.

Our logo was created amid the pandemic, which speaks to the hope we share in Christ during difficult times, and our resolve to fulfill the call God has placed on our church.

The logo is drawn in red to represent the presence and ministry of the Holy Spirit. The background of white represents the joy of the arrival and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and the new and abundant life we receive from Him. The Jerusalem Cross speaks to taking the gospel to the four corners of the world, making God known to the ends of the earth.

The Rev. Christopher Walk is the Rector at Church of the Redeemer, Camden, NC.
