The Falls Church Anglican (TFCA) seeks a seasoned pastoral leader to serve as Senior Associate Rector of the congregation. TFCA seeks someone with the heart of a shepherd (1 Peter 5:2-3), the disposition of a caring pastor (Acts 20:28), godly character marked by sensitivity to, and the fruit of, the Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:22-25), a love for the Bible and strong commitment to biblically orthodox faith (2 Tim. 3:16-17), and the wisdom that comes from years of steady, faithful leadership and godly administration (Titus 1:7-9).
Together with the Rector, the Senior Associate Rector is responsible for the leadership, care, and oversight of the church’s clergy (both presbyters and deacons) and the pastoral care and support of the parish. Accordingly, the Senior Associate Rector assists the Rector and Pastor for Congregational Care in providing specialized expertise in pastoral care in crisis or sensitive ministry situations as needed and leads corporate liturgical services. Ideally, the Senior Associate Rector will have served as rector at another Anglican parish and have skills and experience in leading, teaching, serving, and administering a church.

The Pastor for Missions and Outreach has a burning passion for the Great Commission (Matthew 28: 16-20), the heart of a shepherd to address the needs of our neighbors (Matthew 25: 40-43), and a Spirit-led fervor to mobilize the church and develop leaders to bear witness to proclaim the Gospel (Acts 1: 8) and establish the church where it doesn’t yet exist. In coordination with the Rector and the Executive Director, responsible for the development of the church’s strategic vision and initiatives around local outreach and engagement, international missions, and church planting. Gives managerial and pastoral oversight to urban, immigrant, and world outreach ministries as leader of the Missions and Outreach department.
