New Wineskins Ministry Opportunities

New Wineskins mobilizes Anglicans for authentic, cross-cultural partnership around the world. This ministry calls us to pray for those around the world with a missional heart that resembles that of our Lord and to consider how we can support their effort.

If you are not familiar with New Wineskins, please check out their new website here. Read the most recent newsletter here which includes ways to support the ministry:

  • Upcoming dates: Nov. 1, the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church and Feb. 7, World Mission Sunday for the ACNA, as well as dates for the next New Wineskins Conference, Sept. 22-25, 2022.

  • Global Prayer Calls: twice weekly, anyone is welcome to join. Email for the Zoom link.

  • Global Prayer Guide and the Prayer Loft have now replaced our Quarterly Prayer Calendar.

  • All the new resource pages and our mission networks (all of which are designed to help mobilize every Anglican for mission engagement). The AGMP website and the ACNA GMI are now both full embedded into our website, making it a true central hub for Anglican missions for our province!

And don’t miss the words of encouragement from Jenny Noyes, Executive Director for New Wineskins. Here is an excerpt:

Times of uncertainty, loss, and upheaval can cause us to question our faith, driving us toward depression, or can actually draw us closer to God as we realize that He is Our Rock, Our Deliverer, and Our Sustainer! These challenging times are causing us to see the truth about false gods or idols in which we have put our faith. The refiner's fire isn't pleasant in the moment, but we trust that what God is doing is helping us to discover what is really "true, noble, right, pure, lovely and admirable."
