Hurricane Ian Relief

Hurricane Ian hit Florida on September 28, where over 2.6 million homes and businesses have already lost power. One of the strongest hurricanes ever to hit the United States, it regained strength as it headed inland. The Anglican Relief and Development Fund (ARDF) is taking donations through the Joseph Fund to help with more relief work as they continue to work with their partners on the ground.

From the website:

“Hurricane Ian made landfall as one of southwest Florida's most intense hurricanes on record, according to weather.com. Destructive winds and flooding rainfall accompanied it as it moved inland, and we know the damage will be extensive. ARDF has been developing a Disaster Response Network, and before it even hit the States, ACNA churches preemptively gathered supplies to deliver to those in need. Our National Disaster Response Network Director, Tommy Lamb, is currently driving donated supplies to the disaster site, including over 500 flood buckets, 200 personal hygiene kits, shovels, mops, brooms, bibles, and blankets.”
