Children's Ministry Leaders Gathering
Please join children's leaders and directors from our diocese for our quarterly gathering over lunch on Thursday, September 14 from noon-2 p.m. at Restoration Anglican Church // 1815 N. Quincy St. // Arlington, Virginia. Lunch will be provided.
Claire Gallagher Moore*, a member of All Saints' Church in Woodbridge and a certified behavior analyst who serves children and families through Applied Behavior Analysis, will join us as we explore evidence-based strategies for designing inclusive environments that meet the needs of children impacted by intellectual, developmental, or emotional disabilities. We will discuss a brief overview of some of the most common neurodevelopmental disorders such as Autism, ADHD, and Sensory Processing Disorder. Then we’ll dive into proactive strategies that can set us up for success to support these children as we include them in our ministry programming efforts.
Please RSVP to Louise by Monday, September 11, to RSVP and share whether you have any particular food allergies or sensitivities.
