Our annual Diocesan Synod this past Friday evening and Saturday was such an encouraging experience. Synod continues to grow, with some 350 people joining in. More than half were not official delegates—they simply wanted to participate, since Synod is open to all.
I’m writing this from the Mosaix conference on multi-ethnic ministry and church planting. I’m here with a team from our diocese, joining with over 1,200 pastors and musicians and church planters. We’re gathered near Dallas-Fort Worth to learn and share about how our churches can be more effective in reaching the rich array of peoples and races and nationalities in our communities.
