Hurricane Sandy, one of the largest and fiercest storms to strike the East Coast in years, affected more than 20 states. The winds and water destroyed thousands of homes, left millions without power and killed more than a hundred. The Anglican Relief and Development Fund (ARDF) is working with Anglican Dioceses and Parishes by the storm.
St. Brendan's has been located at Central Union Mission on 1350 R Street for many years.
